Orchha – A serene town on the banks of the Betwa River, Orchha is famous for its grand palaces, temples, and cenotaphs (chhatris). The Orchha Fort Complex, Jahangir Mahal, Raja Ram Temple, and Laxmi Narayan Temple reflect a fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture.

Khajuraho – A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Khajuraho is renowned for its stunning temples adorned with intricate sculptures and erotic carvings. Built by the Chandela dynasty, its most famous temples include the Kandariya Mahadev Temple, Lakshmana Temple, and Vishwanath Temple, showcasing extraordinary craftsmanship and spiritual significance.

Arrive in Gwalior – the historic place of Scindia empire with stunning forts and intricate palaces that were at some point ruled by rulers of different era. Founded by the king Surajesan, Gwalior has a majestic charm that speaks volumes of its magnificent past. Encircled by beautiful hills and greenery, it is a beautiful historic city where its royal charm is reflected through its striking architectural structures like sandstones mosque, rock temples and magnificent statues. Also Known as the city of music, Gwalior is one of the most erstwhile gharanas or schools of Hindustani classical music. On arrival in Gwalior, Check into your hotel and relax. In afternoon, visit Jai Vilas Palace & Museum (Monday closed) where the armors from the era of Shah Jahan and Aurangzeb, to the freedom movement during the reign of Rani LaxmiBai are well preserved. The palace sprawls its regal branches over an area of 75 acres and it serves as a grand resident to the descendants of JayajiRaoScindia as well as a huge museum constituting to 35 rooms; one of the carpets in Jai Vilas Palace took nearly 12 years to weave! Later in the evening, enjoy the Sound and Light Show at Fort. Return to hotel for overnight stay in Gwalior.

Later go for full day local sightseeing of Orchha - an ancient town which seems frozen in time, with some of the most fascinating temples and palaces displaying their grandeur even today. Visit the Orchha Fort complex comprising of several formidable structures including forts, palaces, temples, cenotaphs and historic monuments that speaks volumes of the glorious Bundela Rajputs and their stories of valor. Orccha fort, situated on the banks of the River Betwa, offers impressive artwork of paintings and stone carving within its premises, catering to the desire of history and nature lovers. GWALIOR – ORCHHA

After breakfast, check out from hotel and leave for Khajuraho. On arrival, check into to Hotel and relax later.In evening, enjoy the sound and light show set against the backdrop of temples itself - the fascinating sound and light show evokes the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and traces the story of unique temples from the 10th century to the 11th century. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.

ORCHHA – KHAJURAHO

After breakfast proceed for a full day temple tour of the UNESCO site of 'Khajuraho Group of Monuments', famous for its Nagara-Style architecture and graceful sculptures of nayikas and deities. Built around a thousand years ago by the Chandela rulers, there were around 85 temples which got ruined over the years, and today around 20 of them are left that could survive the damage. These temples are divided into three groups: Eastern, Western and Southern group and they represent various forms like meditation, spiritual teachings, relationship, through stimulating art. The temples are famous for its craftsmanship that consist of splendid demonstrations of fine sculptures and exceptional architectural skill. Later back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Khajuraho

After Breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to Madhya Pradesh as your journey ends here. Time to head home; drop at the Khajuraho airport / Gwalior or airport.
