The best time to visit Kanha, Bandhavgarh, and Pench National Parks is from October to June. The peak wildlife sighting months are March to May when animals gather around water sources. However, for lush greenery and pleasant weather, October to February is ideal.
Each park offers different safari options: Jeep Safari: Available in all three parks for a close wildlife experience. Canter Safari: Available in Kanha for larger groups. Elephant Safari: Limited availability in Bandhavgarh for tiger tracking (subject to permission).
Safari bookings can be done online through the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department website or via authorized travel agents. The entry fees vary based on zones, type of safari, and nationality (Indian/foreigner). Advance booking is recommended, especially in peak seasons.
