After breakfast proceed for Sanchi -an ancient place of pilgrimage for Buddhists and its uniqueness lies in the fact that Buddha is not represented through figures, but through symbols. The lotus represents the Buddha's birth, the tree signifies his enlightenment and the wheel represents his attainment of nirvana (salvation). Buddha's presence is marked by the footprints and the throne. It has remains of the Buddhist saints, Sariputra and Mahamodgilya and captivating Buddhist art. Later return back to Bhopal. After Breakfast, checkout from the hotel and transfer to Madai via Bhimbetka & Bhojpur. Bhimbetka - A World Heritage Site is located just along the Satpura range of mountains. It has around 600 rock shelters which house many pre-historic paintings and the area which surrounds these caves, adds to their beauty as there is greenery all around. The place allures people from all over the world as it presents the earliest traces of human life on the Indian subcontinent. En-route, visit Bhojpur- a small village which located on the banks of river Betwas well-known for Shiva Temple and for Cyclopean dam which dates back to 1010-53 A.D. visit the temple at Bhojpur which was left unfinished, but is unique as it is one of the largest lingas in India and it's crafted out a single rock. Later transfer to Magical Madai the raw wilderness and absolute traquility of Madai reserve forest offers scenic escae from the hustle and bustle of city life. It delights you with its rich wildlife, spawling meadows, unending backwaters and spell- binding view that leave you awestruck. On arrival check in at the hotel and relax. Optiona - In afternoon, either go for afternoon Jungle safari or enjoy adventurous activities like Nature walk, visit to nearby village or simply indulge in various activities that your hotel /resort has to offer (subject to availability and may be chargeable) or take the rest of the day at leisure.
