Indore – The commercial capital of Madhya Pradesh, Indore blends history, modernity, and culinary delights. Famous for Rajwada Palace, Lal Bagh Palace, Sarafa Bazaar, and Chhappan Dukan, it is a hub for food lovers and cultural enthusiasts.
Arrive at Indore airport / railway station. Get transferred to Ujjain – one of the sevn holy cities of India that grants ‘moksha’ (liberation) from the cycle of birth and death. On arrival, check into hotel, freshen up. Later visit Mahakaleshwar(one of the 12 Jyotirling) Temple and other local Ujjain sightseeing. It is believed that since there are so many temples in Ujjain that if anyone comes with two cartloads of grain and offers only one handful at each temple, one would still run short of offerings. Return back to hotel for overnight stay in Ujjain.
After Breakfast, check out from hotel and leave for Mandu - Mandu can be visited at any time of year, but looks different in monsoon you can enjoy waterfalls, historical places, and greenery everywhere some of the popular tourist attraction in Mandu are Jahaz Mahal which looks like floating ship in sea. On arrival check in to the hotel, freshen up and leave for local sightseeing of Mandu. In evening return back to hotel for overnight stay in Mandu.
After Breakfast, check out from hotel to visit Maheshwar via Omkareshwar. The name Omkareshwar means 'Lord of Omkaara', which is one of the DwadasaJyotirlinga shrines or the 12 shrines dedicated to lord Shiva in the form of a Jyotirlingam. It's a sacred island which is shaped like the Hindu symbols 'OM', drawing millions of travellers from all across the globe. It has two ancient shrines including Omkareshwar and Amarkareshwar. This holy place is located on the meeting point of Narmada and Kaveri River, making a must-visit pilgrimage destination for Lord Shiva devotees. Later transfer to MaheshwarOn arrival, check into hotel, freshen up and leave for local sightseeing of Maheshwar - a glorious city at the dawn of Indian civilization when it was Mahishmati, capital of king Kartivarjun. This temple town on the banks of the river Narmada finds mention in the epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata, revived to its ancient position of importance by the Holkar queen Rani Ahilyabai. After local sightseeing of Maheshwar, witness ‘Narmada aarti’ at the bank – a holy ritual with divine experience. Later, go for shopping for world famous ‘Maheshwari’ sarees. The unique feature of a Maheshwarisaree is its reversible border, which is designed in a way that both sides of the saree can be worn.Return back to Hotel for overnight stay in Maheshwar.
After Breakfast checkout from the hotel and transfer to Indore. On arrival check in at the hotel and relax later, go for Local sightseeing of Indore – the cleanest city of India - since last 5 years consecutively !Also known as the Commercial Capital of Madhya Pradesh, Indore was once the capital of the Holkar Dynasty and is popular for its history, monuments, food and markets. After rain you can visit nearby places to experience active waterfalls. After sightseeing, return back to hotel. Optional : At late night, visit the famous food street ‘Sarafa Bazaar’ which remains as a jewellery marketplace at daytime and then converts into a street food court at night(supplement may apply). It offers a huge variety of Indore's gastronomic specialties of Malwa cuisine and some indo-western fusion food options. Overnight stay at Indore.
After Breakfast, leave for airport and say goodbye to Madhya Pradesh as your journey ends here. Time to head home; drop at the railway station/airport.
