Bandhavgarh National Park – Known for its high density of Bengal tigers, Bandhavgarh National Park in Madhya Pradesh is a premier wildlife destination. On arrival in Jabalpur/ Raipur pick up the guest and proceed to Bandhavgarh National Park. Bandhavgarh National Park is a natural abode of the variant of wild species, with its topography varying between steep ridges, undulating, forest and open meadows. Bandhavgarh National Park is known for the Royal Bengal Tigers and has the highest density of the Tiger population in India. Bandhavgarh is famous for having the highest density of Royal Bengal Tigers in India, making it one of the best places for tiger sightings. It is also home to leopards, deer, and a diverse range of bird species.
The best time to visit is October to June. The winter months (November to February) offer pleasant weather, while March to June provides the best chances of spotting tigers as animals gather near water sources. The park remains closed during monsoon (July to mid-October).
Jungle safaris can be booked online through the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department’s website or at the park's entry gates. Advance booking is recommended as safaris have limited slots. Safaris are available in morning and afternoon slots.
